Becky has been an artist since she first picked up a crayon and began coloring
on her parent's walls. Her parents were happy when she took up photography
as she couldn't damage the house anymore with her craft.
Becky attended college at Randoph Community College studying commercial
photography. She went on to intern with the Smithsonian Museums of Natural
and American History.
After graduation, Becky studied the art of creating children, where she
excelled at making boys. She is now the proud mother of five year old Miles
and three year old Zane. Having children made Becky rethink Christmas spending,
so she decided to learn to make jewelry. It was love at first hammer!
She took classes at Ornamentea, and through Raleigh Parks and Recreation.
Becky has studied under Megan Clark, Betty McKim, and Timothy Lazure.Becky
strives to use recycled materials in her work and sources gemstones from
the United States when possible.
Becky is constantly inspired by nature to make jewelry that reminds you
of moments like a flower in full bloom or of the rich colors of autumn leaves.
